No Brexit Barriers

Brexit in the offing is proving no barrier to the French love of East Lothian. 28 members of the Franco-Scottish Society are the latest group to fall under the spell of East Lothian’s rich connections to Pilgrimage and to Robert Louis Stevenson. They spent time learning more about these and the rich history of the area at the Coastal Communities Museum in North Berwick. North Berwick is part of the European Cultural Route ‘In the footsteps of Robert Louis Stevenson’, and these visitors who were mostly from Paris were delighted to be following them here. They even crossed the path of one of his distant relatives, who lives close by and speaks fluent French.
