Swallow This!

Here is an exciting new display "In the Footsteps" of Robert Louis Stevenson at North Berwick in the Lothians. It was lovingly created by a community art project.

The beautiful poem about Swallows was published in 1916 long after his death. It has also been set to music - see the additional link below.

It was great to be able to help to make this happen. The calligrapher Ali Crighton, a long term friend, has helped to create a masterpiece! You can see it and the other artwork relating to Stevenson at https://goo.gl/maps/HBmQDnqU6fTwQbgM6 in the alley right next door to Time & Tide.

Next year I hope that we can have some performances of the choral version of the poem. It would be great to hear a school choir perform it.
